What is a Debutante?A débutante (from the French débutante, "female beginner") is a young lady from an aristocratic or upper class family who has reached the age of maturity, and as a new adult, is introduced to society at a formal "début" presentation.

Why is it important to have training before planning a debutante ball?

It is very important to have some type of experience before starting your own debutante/cotillion ball. It takes lots planning, and a host of other important factors, so that everyone that attends enjoy the presentation. Also that each young lady will have a night that they will never forget.
